Depends on your goals, what bhp and torque levels you after.
I have been doing this for a long time and finding out the hard and expensive way.
If you speak to Andy.f on here, or a few others will be here soon.
What other mods have you done?

the td05 is a good cheap bullet proof turbo and will out last the standard 2000 gearbox, the vf34 will spool up quicker than the standard td05. all depends on you goals and cash flow.

Cheers bluebugeye. Its just i know someone selling one. Its off a sti type ra with 59000 miles. He wants 100 quid. Do you think thats a good deal? Any ideas how much power and torque it would add? I already have a k and n 57i and fully decatted turbo back exhaust. I have a decat up pipe which im going to fit at the same time as the turbo and im hoping they will add 30ish bhp. Does that sound about right? Cheers
