What bits have you done to the engine?
Then think about your clutch, gearbox and brakes before upping the power (and aftermarket ecu)

i run 350bhp 340ft on a after market blue pribt clutch standard and my wrx 97/98 gear box for over a year and that clutch had been on for about a year befor ethat running 315ft 315bhp but i would say an 18g would be more like a good clean 350bhp thats what i used on V power at 1.5-1.6 bar as the 16g will be right on its limit at 340-345bhp

A 16g maxxed out will still eat your gearbox and push your engine to its limits, an 18g will go over those limits and eat your gearbox as well.
Stick to a 16g or a VF35.

my engine has forged pistions rods V9 crank and up rated oil pump cometic head gaskets. and as for brakes it got new shape brembos all round with braided lines race fluid and race spec pads so think they should be able to cope with 350bhp
