SUBARU IMPREZA WRX STAINLESS STEEL EXHAUST SYSTEM 92-06 on eBay (end time 14-Dec-09 20:00:06 GMT)

It states that it will fit 92-06? I always thought that the new age cars were different to the classic in terms of exhaust fitment...

Newage cars have an extra cat after the downpipe, the centre section is also not as long to compensate for this, the backboxes however will fit only difference being the rear hangar faces left for the classics and right for newage.
The system advertised looks like it has a flexi section added on the downpipe, which can sometimes leak after some heavy abuse.

is your car an sti or wrx i think im right in saying the sti 06 onwards has a different rear bumper position which causes a fitment issue for exhausts..i think you need to buy the correct fitment for your car

could be wrong though

I believe it does because of the rear diffuser that's in place.

Better of getting something from Scooby World or the likes IMO - at least you know for sure it will fit/work.

I thought it was the 2007 sti impreza that had a fitting issue and it was you could not fit a jap style back box because of the rear diffuser. you had to have a straight exit pipe instead.

All Hawkeye impreza's have the rear diffuser. My 2006 STI certainly does.
