grey seats indicate 260ps
260ps cars were from Sept 94
Check the ecu in the passenger footwell underneath a kick plate

240ps car applied model code is GC8B48D

260ps car applied model code is GC8C48D

black and grey seats = 260
black and red seats = 240

you should have a ecu with z4 written on the top in big letters.

Decat and an increase in boost to 1.1 or 1.2 bar (fuel pump upgrade always good imo).

Get it to a rolling road before splashing out cash to see how healthy the car is as some of the sensors may not be in good condition and be detrimental to the power output

it shouldnt be hard to get to 300bhp especially if you only have to change the seats to get 20bhp more

Yes,however if you run your car on a rolling rod it doesn't mean you will get 260ps simply because of the age of the car when i put 1 in my93 wrx i only got 244bhp

No but you can add this to it Enduring Solutions Limited which is a fully remappable solution.

They look good and at that price you cant argue,i was thinking if my ecu cant be mapped than its going to cost alot for a new one.

That price doesn't include mapping though i think so the total cost would be about £500 (yes i know it's a lot but if you want a safe 300bhp then it is the cheapest way to go).

This guy maps all (or nearly all the ecus avaliable for imprezas) www.jollygreenmonster.co.uk
