MY93-96 SEATBELT WARNING LIGHT ???

MY93-96 SEATBELT WARNING LIGHT ???
Just swapped over a new early phase 1 binnacle (with white Lockwood dials in) the other week.
It's just caught my notice that the seatbelt warning graphic doesn't light up - I obviously overlooked checking that when I did the swap
Is it SUPPOSED to light up? Or is the light deliberately left redundant by Subaru? (I can't remember whether the light did indeed light up on my old binnacle or not ). Also would it be accompanied by an audible alarm or something???
If it IS supposed to light up, under what conditions? I'm assuming it's supposed to do so when the key is turned to the "ACC. ON" position... and/or the motor running (with belt unclipped obviously)???
Any advice/photos, etc will help me determine whether to remove the binnacle again to replace a dead bulb, etc, etc...
Thanks.

Thanks. Do you know that for sure though - or are you just guessing?
Sorry for having to ask that, but I don't wanna have to remove the binnacle if I don't have to, if you get my drift.
Do you have an early binnacle? If so, any chance of posting a quick vid showing it lighting up when you put keys in igniton etc... for positive 'proof'?

Brilliant - can always count on you bat, for these requests
Bugger, now gotta partially remove binnacle to replace bulb.
I'm sad. I like everything to work - despite that light being, ultimately, 'irrelevent' to me, as I always wear the belt (obviously).
