215/40/17 would work best IMO size wise. Yokohama Parada spec-2 I hear are good. But I've found Falken, Bridgestone, Avon, Kumho and Michellin all do make some good tires in there range's but it's all about how much cash you want to splash .
I'd get the best you can really as ultimately the way your car drive's is affected by them. I have Kenda Kaiser KR20's on mine at the moment as they came with my alloy wheel package as a budget option...good in the dry, not the best in the wet and squeel like little piggies when pushed

Go for vredesteins with the thicker tyre wall to avoid looking stretchy and max rim protection. Some tyres fit better than others from a rim coverage perspective.

I've always run 215/45/17's myself, slightly bigger rolling radius, but work pretty well in Toyo TR-1.
