You need this pattern - with the square CUT-OUTS at the sides (I have this pattern on my 93 WRX with vented 266mm(?) rear discs/single-pot calipers too):-

Check your existing pads in the calipers - you'll easily see their locating cut-outs...

Well timed thread or what

I am in the process of renewing all my discs, pads and hoses i've got the fronts sorted, upgraded to 4 pots and s/s lines.

I am looking at ordering rear discs this week but have one question, are the 'dual layer' discs the same as 'vented'??

Never heard the term 'dual layer'(?)

But it sort of makes sense, as vented discs are effectively 'two' thinner discs joined togther by mutiple cast 'vanes' thus creating the multiple cooling air gaps between the 'two' discs' inner surfaces.

But I'm just guessing that's what the supplier 'means'. You'd be best to ring 'em to clarify, before buying...

Yeah it would seen that 'dual layer' and 'vented' are the same, ie 266mm x 18mm So just ordered a pair of drilled/grooved

Thats next weekend taken care of then

Well, an 18mm wide disc would be one helluva thick 'solid' type!.

For comparison the vented fronts are 24mm wide, so I'm certian the 18mm wide rear disc is, therefore, the vented version too.
