ive a 93 wrx with 80k on it. runs 1.1 bar boost for 4years now on a standard pump. today the car died on me. tryed to restart but it wouldnt fire. couldnt hear the pump prime. checked under the seat for a broken wire. looks ok.

rac man come to rescue. taps under the tank as i flick the ignition. car starts gets me home JUST! on drive very weak, throttle responce and when pump primes (when it does) it groans.

fuel pump gone?

sounding like it mate check all conections on to of fp an inside wires if is, not to much to worry about staight forward job and you can pick up a walbro for between 70-80 quid brand new
