Default Dayco Timing Belt - reuse after less than 1k??

Yes or big no no?

I dont really see why not if its so new - would it have had the chance to stretch?

as long as you have noted direction or rotation, and there was/is no damage to the belt i cant see why not.

All markings are on the belt Ive always thought that a belt would become weak with age & use, so as this one is neither, would assume it would be okay... No harm in asking the experts

i use a dayco belt with no problem and would in my opinion to be on the safe side to renew even if it has little miles on it as it is a long belt under alot of tension.

Nothing wrong with a Dayco belt. Cant see why you cant re-use as long as you didnt have an engine seize or similar calamity.
