Default Which Oil

Hi

Sorry if this is in the wrong section (and i have already used the search with no luck)

I want to change the oil and filter in my terzo

What grade oil should i be using, its a 98 turbo 2000 with 95K

Just put some silkolene fully synthetic 10w50 in mine after quite a bit of research, bottom line is make sure it's fully synth ester based (spelling?!)

would this oil be suitable for a standard engine under normal (occasional fast) road use? if so where can i buy some?

Ben, I would recommend Motul 300v 10/40 or 15/50

0/50 is not recommended.

as above, i use motul 300v 15w50, great stuff.

bob i was reccomended 5w 30 300v (motul)in my 02 sti which is moded to 340 bhp,its a tiny bit tappety in morning and want to know if i should change it again or leave till next oil and filter.its been in for about 5 weeks.

will millers 10/40 do?

Its a lot cheaper than the Motul Stuff.

ZEN supply and fit the CFS brand. It's what's in my Zen-serviced motor too.

I'd stick in a 15W 'Winter' weight oil to alleviate this.
