Default New exhaust headers/manifold doesnt fit

Have purchased an exhaust manifold from a ebay seller and doesnt seem to fit my car. It is for my early classic Impreza turbo. seems to hit against engine sump so wont push up against cylinder head. Also the top up pipe gasket, when aligned with the bolt holes, half covers the flow of exhaust gases, its not the gasket at fault as my oringinal gasket does exactly the same.
Has anyone had issues like this?
I already have a tublaur manifold on car but slightly different design and fits perfectly.
The supplier is willing to refund but says never had a problem before with
them?

The item I bought is:

WRX SUBARU IMPREZA STi RA TURBO HEADERS HEADER MANIFOLD on eBay (end time 30-Jun-09 00:07:00 BST)

Cheers

u can get them from flat4online i think. i bought mine 2nd hand for 230 so was lucky in that way but sound awesome. an they lined up so well from the turbo to the headers. i wanted new 1s but cudnt trust ebay. they might send a 2nd set out to u an be different but if not refund an find some of these kakumeis if u can and heat wrap them. heard harvey on here can port standard headers an improve performace an at least u know they fit right lol

I fitted the kakumei headers to my last car, really good quality. Send the ebay ones back and get a set! Only problem is, i don't know anywhere to get them other than flat4online, and they have a bad rep!
