hi all,

ive got my defi's installed now and when the ignition is on but not engine started my oil pressure sensor is causing the defi controller to beep, basically i know that because the engine is off there's no pressure so the sender is doing its job but i sit in the car at work with engine off to listen to the radio and all i hear is the beeeeeep sound, is there anyway to shut it up,

Just use the pause option during playback to stop it beeping

Obviously you'll need to record something first, if you haven't done so already

Just went and checked for you. My radio works on the first click of the ignition the defi's don't get power to the next rotation. If they are beeping turn the ignition back slightly and the CD player will stay on.
