Default best tmic?

what would be the best/most straight forward tmic for my 93 wrx?

as an upgrade? if its just the intercooler your upgrading then its pretty pointless, if your going to upgrade other stuff at the same time ie turbo,injectors, and remap then the STi tmic is good for upto 350ish BHP

running a td05 with tubulars and decat, powerfc and 440's. not sure if its a std tmic as its silver but may just have been painted, bit shot too as its been used as a tool tray!

STi8 TMIC, but it can be a bugger to fit on your model. Might be worth considering a decent (ie Hybrid) FMIC.

I wouldn't use a STi5 TMIC with those mods (assuming your aiming for mid 300s).

if ur going for big power then get a really good top mount like avo or aps but these are very expensive, upgrading to v5 or v8 will reduce your overall temps but will harly be noticable, overall best just going for a front mount,

are'nt front mounts a bit of a pain to fit? do i have to cut bumper about?

Research shows the best value for money [upto 400bhp] is the newage STI tmic.
Always a few on Ebay and you should get one for £150 plus you will need the d/v amd a bit of extra piping.
There is a sticky in the Tech section but this is aimed at MY00 cars.
