I have just changed the turbo on my impreza cause the old 1 was knackerd,
Now the car wont idle, the revs bounce between 1.5k-2.5k, the engine check light flashed on a couple of times aswell, Have i dun somthing wrong? anybody got any ideas?

Have you checked the error codes?
Have you checked all the hoses are secure,you haven't caught any wiring when you replaced the turbo?

Checked and double checked all pipes an conections, the engine check light only flashed on for a couple of seconds, the exhaust dose sound like its blown from the conection between turbo and down pipe? would that maybe have something to do with the idle bouncing?

The CEL flashing means a code has been stored so ,imo, should be checked.

A blowing exhaust wouldn't affect the idle like that imo
