Default 95 WRX PLUGS AND LEADS

just a quick question im looking to replace my plugs and leads this weekend and wanted to know what the ideal ones are for my car. Pretty standard spec 95 WRX import hks filter de cat 2.5 inch system walbro fuel pump thats about it as far as mods go. Am I right in saying that NGK plugs are fairly good just wondering which ones and what MM leads i will need to go with them.

thanks

If you have a standard 95 wrx, you dont have HT Leads as such, you have individual coil cap that connects onto each plug.

Later scoobs (classics) have the 1 coil which does require HT leads.
Then the later ones again went back to indivudal coil caps i think

Autodata specs:

- NGK PFR6G with an electrode gap of 0.7 to 0.8

I hope that helps,

Oh i forgot to mention that once you remove the invidual coil pack to change the plug, i suggest that you inspect the casing of the coil pack for damage and especially under the ribber boot where the pack makes contact with the plug. As these are most prone to crack and do not twist the coil pack to remove off the plug as sometimes the rotating motion can cause the coil pack to crack on the tip.

funny enough i just did my plugs and tried to remove the rubber caps on the end of the coil caps, 3 out of 4 were brittle and crumbled into pieces as i pulled the rubber cap off, so new coils for me !!!!!!!!!!

I got 3 coil packs sitting in my old motor, so if they're cracked give me a shout. As i now have a single coil pack scoob and will not need these. Oh and they won't be £50 a pot.
