Relative newbie looking to see if anyone knows how I can get much more power from my 1998 UK Wagon. Its got an STI bottom end ,think an upgraded VF28 turbo ( standard turbo off a 1997 import STI ) and HKS air filter Don't really wanna spend £300- £400 on a ECU upgrade .Had a 1995 UK turbo that had a Polar Performance ECU that I bought new for £100 Any Ideas?

How is the map altered for the bigger turbo? It should already have a non OE ecu, either a STi one, unichip, Apexi pfc or possibly a chip.
Or your playing with your engine's life already!
Power upgrades are not cheap. That's the #1 fact you have to carry with you!
Actually I recommend you to upgrade your (front) brakes soonest for the power you're already running.
