good find. so really ngk and denso are as good as each other but ngk have longer life due to slightly larger tip. i change them annually anyway so wont matter about lifespan. what are everyones feelings on Ngk vs Denso ?????

Well, nearly all Subaru specilaists stock/use/recommend the NGK, so I think they will do the job just fine.

I have used Denso Racing IK01-24 for some time now. On back to back mapping tests with 7B's we got 10bhp more from the Denso's because we could add more timing. Not a huge gain, but is noticeable and throttle response is better. Gains will be less on lower powered cars, so you need to ask whether you want to splash out that much on plugs for only a small gain. For standard and lightly modded cars, I would stick with 7B's imho.

Sorry, no experience of NGK Iridium.

That's impressive from those Densos. How much are they? Are they 'too cold' to put in lightly modded cars? At what sort of mods/power level do they become worthwhile fitting?

thats great thanks. will stick with ngk pfr7b's the now. planning on getting andyF to remap mine this summer and noticed he recommends 7b's as part of mods. just heard people on about iridiums and thought i would ask. both ngk and denso iridiums are cheaper than 7b's though, so the 7b's must be good! thanks again
