Default my99 starting problems

hi, i have subaru cat 1 alarm in my car. everything drove fine until on tuesday morning the car would not start.

all the electrics work, the alarm works, the lights and remote central locking only when i turn the key to start the car, the car doesnt actually turn over. does any1 have a clue?

i just get the normal EH EH EH EH EH EH EH noises as the car tries to fire up. iv tried inputting the code into the immoboliser but the car still doesnt start.

much appreciated.

so it DOES turn over, but doesnt start, right?
i.e. the starter motor is spinning?

it could be the fuel pump is immobilised....have you checked for fuel at the injectors?
alternatively, was anything done to the car on Monday which could have affected the car starting?.....
