Exclamation exhaust/re-mapping query

hi as iam new to this been doing a bit of reading but its left me unsure
first of im on the understanding that my non turbo 2.0l my97 wont take a re-map rite or wrong?
secondly can i get a 2nd decat pipe for it and how much (roughly)?
also are octane boosters good or bad?

Correct your 97 ECU is not live remapable, you would need a new ECU.

Decat down pipes retail for around £170 upwards for decent ones, fitment will vary from 30 mins to 3 hours.

Octane boosters are a benefit for track days and hard driving, but wont see a significant increase in HP by them self’s, most important is high octane fuel (Pump Fuel)

As the car isn't a turbo mapping couldn't do much for you. I think only post '99 cars are remappable anyway.
