Question De-Cat D/Pipe Install

Installing a Magnex 2.5" de-cat downpipe.

I have a Lambda sensor in the OE exhaust that looks like

& a hole in the d/pipe of

Now I haven't got the sensor out yet but working on it ( ) but when I do get it out, there's no way it will fit in that approx 19mm hole.

I believe Magnex are no more so what should I do?

the original is the cat not working sensor.. which you no longer need.

the hole in the downpipe is for the lambda sensor.. which on your car is in the headers..

so you need a bung for the whole.

It is also a good move to put the lambda sensor into the downpipe and block the headers hole.. however if the sensor is old but working you might find it will damage it removing it so possible best to wait and move if it fails.

no just unplug it..

the cat on fire / overheat circuit is a separate thing to the ecu.. the worst it can do is put a little light on the dash.. but usually unplugged it does nothing.

Yeah can second that (not that JGM needs 2nd-ing) fitted 3"decat and removed cat not working with oe d/pipe, refitted o2 sensor in new d/pipe and bunged of hole in header/manifld with no lights or problems
