Battery info request
Guys,
I have only used my car twice in a fornight and went to use it for work this morning and the battery was as dead as Gary Glitters hair.
After much titting around with my charger (trying to get to it in the first place by push my car back) @ 06:30am I've put the little minx on charge but only on getting to work I've just had a thought.
I'm not sure if my battery is a sealed unit? And on my charger if I have set it to a normal battery or sealed unit.
My charger is Halfords Fully Automatic Battery Charger from Halfords Price £37.99
My battery is made by Exide. But I don't know the model type etc.
If it is a sealed unit what damage is likely if I have placed it on normal charging etc? Normal is Acid based and sealed is gel is that right?
Steve
