Heaters on then strong petrol smell:(
What could be my problem peeps?? i did notice some oil leaking near the airfilter piping from the head gasket! not sure if its gone? the heat seems ok & i can do long trips just this smell on petrol is making me worried:.(
Any help on this is much preciated!

ps. i notice the smell most when i have the air coming from the heaters when on & the air circulation from outside is on - when i do it so the air is cut off from outside & have interior air circulation on it seems to die down... not sure if yours was the same?

Yep, mine was the same as it draws air from just below the windscreen outside.
It only happened in very cold weather and only really noticable when stationary or at lower speeds.
I was dubious changing the fuel pipes would fix it but it did

I think it was about £60 or £70 for the whole lot including inlet manifold gaskets. The small rubber hose is about £15 from the dealer but it's just a piece of fuel hose
