Question knocking and steering twitch while driving

Hi

I drive a Subaru impretza lz 1.6 and lately After driving for roughly 20-30 mins I get a knocking (clicking sound) coming from near my feet when i'm steering right even just the slightest bit. I happens at all speeds mainly low speed but that might just be because the engines quieter and i can hear it.

I've taken it to the garage and they can't see anything wrong cv joint and rubber boots are fine only replaced in march. It was mentioned that a brake pad could be loose but not sure.

Also now the steering has sporadically started to twitch left while the noise is on.

Any help would be gratefully received

thanks

Most likely a wheel bearing if you can feel it in the steering wheel. A bent rim can also cause a twitch but not a sound.

Thanks I'll check this out but would a wheel bearing be heard all the time or on and off?

In the cases I have seen it was all the time, but mine were very badly damaged.
