Default No BOV or D/V with FMIC

Have fitted a FMIC (Japspeed) to my 96 wagon WRX. The pipework bypasses the BOV i had fitted. I have seen other FMIC installs with BOV's fitted to the pipework before the inlet manifold...

will NOT having 1 do any damage.. although i do love the sound it makes!!

any hepl would be v helpfull

some will say yes you will be fine (standard tubby and not silly boost)

and others will say you'll wreck your turbo in no time.

I say you'll be ok (although it may slightly reduce your turbo life), sounds great and less lag

I don't run a DV on my 95 STi Wagon.
Hybrid FMIC and mapped to Simtek ECU you get the chatter.
