What induction kit with a FMIC?
I'm going to be fitting a Hybrid GT Spec FMIC to my car soon but from looking at pictures i cant keep my airbox. So i'm guessing i need to get a decent induction kit. What do people recommend? Anything that i should avoid?

Any dry filter induction kit, steer clear of the ones that use oil in the filter
The APEXi Power Intake is a dry filter where as the K&N's are oil filters (its the oil that retains the dirt), the oil from the K&N can be sucked through from the filter and play havoc with your MAF and potentially ruin it costing you more money in the long run.

The HKS is crap would not touch it with someone else's barge pole, apexi or K&N are the ones to go for:

Problems with the APS CAIK (inner wing kit) are that they can make you run approx 30% lean untill mapped, and fitting a FMIC with it (ESPECIALLY a hybrid kit which is a PITA to fit anyway) will be a hard job, as it occupies the void in the wing that the IC pipework needs to use.

They recommended the HKS because they had had good results with them and they can be picked up quite cheaply. They don't stock them so that wasn't there incentive.
Is there ans APS kit for my car (MY96 Version 2 STi) and where from?
Wheres the best place for Apexi or K&N filters?
