Default What PSI do I need?

Hi all, I've just fitted some proper 17" Subaru wheels to my 96 Classic Turbo Estate, these are the ones:

They have 215/45/17 Bridgestone Potenza tyres on them but I have no idea what tyre pressure I be running them on, can somebody help?

You do realise that thats the wrong tyre size for a classic (205x45 or 215x40 on 17"s). Not by much but your speedo will read lower than your actual speed. Although the classic speedo reads a bit high anyway so you should be fine.

As to your question, I'd start with

Front 32PSI (2.2bar)
Rear 30PSI (2.1bar)

Some people run lower and some higher, depending on the type of tyres and the driver. On mine those pressures wear the tyres evenly and it handles ok.

I've been told its better to try and keep the rear about 2PSI (0.1bar) lower than the front.

Thanks for the info They were the tyres that came with the wheels and I can't afford any others so they'll have to do. I've got them to 36 at the front and 34 at the back and they felt much better than the wheels that were on it.
