Default Crankshaft position sensor 'A'.........

Evening all,

I was on my way home from work on Friday when my engine management light came on,
so within 15 mins i had it on diagnostics, which flagged up one fault. Crankshaft position sensor 'A'. Ive done a search but this only specifies the problem on classics. How easy is this problem to sort & is it a job any mechanic can do? Can i please have a step by step if possible & where can i buy a Crankshaft position sensor 'A' from?

cheers all

Marc .

2 minute job mate....new one from subaru is about £100. Its just under your alternator...1 bolt and 1 plug but its getting to it. See if you can borrow a short stub rachet. I think its a 12mm. I got hands like spades but still managed
