Default Lambda Sensor Wiring

Hi guys bought a universal 3 wire Lambda sensor from Powerstation and not sure which wire on the sensor goes to which wire on the cars wiring as they are different colours.
The car has the following wires:
1. Black with red stripe
2. Red with black stripe
3. White with red stripe.

The new lambda sensor has the following:
1. White
2. White
3. Black

The car is a 93 wrx any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks
Taylor.

Cheers Gaz, only problem is that when myself and a mate went to change the sensor the plug had been cut off and the wires joined via crimps to the original car wires, hence the sensor had already been changed previous to me owning the car, so i don't have the original plug to look at. So from what you've said, all i need to do is find out which is the signal wire on the cars wiring (as i know its the black wire on the new sensor wiring), and the other two can connect to the remaining two in any order.

Can't remember Gaz. We had previously fitted the sensor to the car a couple of months ago and on having the car remapped last week the mapper said that the reading from the sensor was wrong as it showed a constant 5.1 volts where as it should be between 0 and 0.9 volts, so the wiring must be wrong. Hopefully this hasn't damaged the sensor and its simply a case of changing the wires around. Think i'll have to give Powerstation a call tomorrow, i hoped that somebody had changed the sensor on a 93 car recently and knew what the standard coloured wires represented so i could match them up to the new sensor. Greatly appreciate your help Gaz.

Cheers Gaz, would be grateful. Think it was about £60.

The black wire of the universal sensor goes to the white with red stripe on the multi plug/wiring loom, the other two can go either way, being just the heater wires.
Havn't long changed mine so the info is still fresh in my head
