Default Remapping....Who's the best ????

I've decided to go for a remap but not sure where to go to to get it done Ive got an 02 bug with a decatted pipe and a HKS filter so its pretty much standard.I want to get her mapped but I dont know who to trust.I live in Dorset on the south coast and would like someone reasonably local. Can anyone recommend a good mapper ????? I've been told to go for an "ecu tec" map ???

Bob Rawle would come highly recomended after experiencing his work in a couple of customers cars, Simon Roe (Jolly Green Monster) is in your area also i believe and has established a pretty good rep also..............

i think triton motorsport at Hurn airport have a good relationship with Bob Rawle as he's mapped a few cars there may be worth speaking to them.

I would also have to suggest Bob Rawle, he charges you 1 single fee and spends as long as it takes to get the car right. He spent 3 hours on mine only to find a problem with the FPR , now thats replaced, he will be doing it again. He is also a very helpful bloke and easy to talk to. Certainly knows his stuff!

Bob gets my vote: very helpful guy and, as many will attest, you won't find a better mapper.

Simon Roe JGM on here, is also a very helpful guy (from personal experience) and is getting an excellent reputation as a mapper. He does it full time now (so may have shorter lead times) if that's a factor for you.

No such thing as "The Best" unless someone on here trys every single mapper and then goes through extensive benchmarking with all!

We have used both PowerStation and Tracktive Solutions for the ScoobyNet Project Spec C mapping. Both with excellent results. Mapping is more than just achieving headline figures on a dyno plot...... reliability and driveability are more key in my opinion.

There are a number of "trusted" mappers who advertise on ScoobyNet..... the world is your oyster!

cant rate simon roe, (jolly green monster) highly enough, mapped both my cars yesterday, and i think he enjoyed himself as much as i did in my little rocket!
would definately use again and most probably will when my next toy arrives from across the water.
