Tell me what 0.5 bar of boost is? Sorry as we are new to turbo's.

 

it is the measurement of the boost that the turbo is making ...i think 0.5 bar is only actuator boost pressure

 

So doe's that mean that the turbo isn't working?

 

no it might be the ecu or the boost controller

 

How do we find out which one it is?

 

go to a subaru specialist garage ...sry that way pass my intellegence

 

Do you think that it's fcuked then?

where in the UK are you ?
how long has it only been running 0.5 ?
any modifications ?

it might be a split pipe, turbo related.

 

We just got it 2day don't know what version it is it's an M reg WRX,
We are in swindon, wiltshire
Not sure how long as we only just bought it 2day, but when we went 4 a test drive it seemed to want to go
Mods as far as we can see intercooler, dump valve and airfilter.

We hope its a split pipe! And nothing serious as we only just got it 2day! But when your in the car and your giving it some it sounds very airey
