Question Where to fit number plate??

Hi folks, this question has probably been asked before but i wouldnt mind a bit of advice....I've got me RB5 in a tuning garage getting a front mounted intercooler and other goodies fitted....was wondering were is the best place to fit the number plate after cutting out the bumper??

I have a few ideas like mounting it below the grill on the bumper (a common favourite), or maybe a stick-on number plate on either the bonnet or my front splitter?? Not fussed on a side mounted evo-style plate as i have the piaa driving lights fitted to the car!!

I would be greatful for as many pics here as possible before i decide what to do....needa know by wednesday!!

Cheers for now!!

I got a bit of thin sheet aluminium, bent it into an 'L' profile, stuck the 3/4 size plate on the front facing part, then used velcro to attach it to the underside of the top part of the bumper opening. No problems up to 155mph so far, nor in the carwash.

That's an option LOL. I did only run a rear plate on our old '66 Beetle; don't know whether the local coppers would be so happy about it on a Subaru though!

Stu have you had any grief from the cops with a stick on plate or been MOT'd?

Just curious as I'll be running a stick on plate once my bonnet has been re-painted...

Is it at all possible to get away with no number plate on the front of the car or would the police go crazy about it??

The car looks really mean with no front plate fitted

I've had mine in my window for nearly 4 months now, never been pulled.

I'm gonna go with the 3/4 size plate too, but where do you get them from, I can't find anyone that does them

most vinyl graphic companies do the 3/4 plates, just tell them its for a show plate.

Got mine from a local sign writer.

I've been fined twice for my 3/4 front plate.
Doesn't look right with a normal plate on it, so I say catch me again!
