Don't know personally, but this thread may be of interest...

"From data I've collated, lag is significantly increased and charge temps are higher when swapping a STi TMIC to an Autobahn FMIC on the same car/engine/turbo."

Group buy available on Hybrid FMICs at the moment:£280 for a classic.

These are quality items and many on here have fitted them.

Check out the GB section

well mine has a front mount and not suffered any lag, i've got a bogger turbo than standard which pushes the power band further up the revs but lag wise no difference.

as far as i'm aware there has only ever been one proper back to back test of top mounts against front mounts, as in same day, same car, same dyno and run, switch parts, run, switch parts, run etc

the out come was basicly

standard top mount - crap

cheap uprated top mount - not any noticible improvment on the standard one

uprated top mount - reasonable, decrease in charge temps, no lag

front mount - mapped correctly, temps hardly up, little to no lag (it was only detectable in the map itself and an amount you wouldn't event be able to perceive its that quick)

Also after a conversation with one of the most respected and top mappers int he country the 'lag' is often due to the ecu not liking the combination of a front mount and a MAF sensor, nothing to do with delayed responce.

only real exception to this lag rule (if you wanna call it that) is when you have a small turbo (like a td04) which doesn't have a large enough flow rate to fill the frount mount and piping quickly

Yes, if it were me (and if I still had an Impreza!) I'd go for a hybrid one.
