Unhappy Another Misfiring Problem... MY96... Help me please!!!

Please folks, if you have had anything similar, and solved the problem help me! Stop me from burning this car! Please please please...

I have searched all over the forum. Lots of people with the same problem, but i couldn't find any definite solutions.

Here's my problem:

My car starts misfiring after 4000 rpm. There is misfiring before that too, but not noticeable. If you don't push the throttle more than 50%, the misfire is not noticeable again, but if you floor it, it wouldn't stop shaking . It gets worse as the engine gets hotter.

I have had this problem for 7-8 months. I tried lots of things, a new MAF, new injectors, new plugs, new cam and crank sensors, etc...The only thing i didn't try is changing coils, but i had them tested, and there doesn't seem to be anything wrong.

I have pretty much everything on my car. FMIC, Apexi PFC, camshafts, 2.2 lt. stroker kit, GT28 Turbo, 800cc injectors, and everything else.

How can I fix it?

How? How? How? How?

You say you've had your coils tested, but did you check them for cracks.
Remove the rubber cover from the end and inspect them closely.
I had exactly the same problem with mine and sure enough one of the coils was cracked.

coil packs... you cannot examine or test them accurately.. unless they crack.. they break down inside.. around 80k / 5years roughly..

Thanks a lot for all your answers mates

It has been so useful. Can't explain what i have been through all this time.

Now I will order new coil packs instantly.

By the way, anyone who has extra coil packs for sale?
Or can tell me where i can find the bosch ones?
