Bartop I have a similar spec to you, but running a 20g. I'd be interested in the graph to see when you start making boost. I make 1bar at 2800rpm and full boost at 3000rpm. Im considereing a MD321T, but need further info on like specced cars, before I commit

TD04 hybrid, so I'm almost 200bhp down on some of you guys !

I'm curious, the 6 speed bixes you are referring to - are they std STi boxes ?
How much bhp can they cope with ?

Car - MY02 Sti Type UK Prodrive

MD Variant - 321H
Supporting Power Mods - Original un-molested engine and gearbox, Bosch 650 injectors, Walbro 255 fuel pump, Hayward & Scott 3" 100-cell sports cat exhaust, Hyperflow induction (in driver's side front wing), RCM group 7 catch can draining to sump, replica STI8 scoop (to original top-mount), Zen remap.

Max boost by what RPM - 1.5 momentary, 1.4 constant from about 3200rpm up.
Max power by what RPM - 390bhp at red line (7200rpm or so)
Max torque by what RPM - 330lbft at about 4400rpm

Drivetrain Mods - AP Racing Organic clutch.

Full boring details here.

Other comments - Torque is low due to relatively low boost. I should be in to Zen week after next to have an HKS EVC6 boost controller fitted. It was due last month, but a dud clutch cleaned me out. I'm still aiming for 400/400. If the increased boost can't do it, then next up is headers and possible up-pipe changes.

What gear are you guys using for your max boost at rpm reading as there is a big difference between 3rd and 5th or 4th and 6th?

That is an awesome horsepower and torque figure for 1.6 bar of boost.

Car - MY03 Sti Type UK
MD Variant - 321H
Supporting Power Mods - Cold air intake, Samco tirbo inltet hose, PE 650 injectors, Custom 3" exhaust and sports cat, Zen tubular headers, Hyperflow uprated TMIC, OEM dump valve and standard internals, AVC-R boost controller. Mapped by Paul Blamire to give 1.6bar midrange tailing to 1.45 bar top end (V-Power plus a splash of NF). Drivetrain Mods - None, but extensive supension and brake upgrades

No RR dyno run, but Deltadash road testing shows:

Max boost by ~3900rpm
Max power - 325 at wheels (a just pipping 400bhp at fly) at ~7000rpm
Max torque ~360ft/lb at ~4600rpm

Other comments - drives likes a dream; very tractable on the road. Considering running the 321H on a built 2.35 or 2.5 bottom end next year for more torque and even quicker spool. Anyone got any experience of this combo?

Pushing it to get 400 on the 550's imo unless you up the fuel pressure, better to get some 650's and be on the safe side I would say..

had my 321h fitted by scoobyclinic just over a year ago got all the usual bits like tubuler wrapped headers,k+n typhoon 3in full decat exhaust system, hyperflow top mount.power came out at 383 bhp and that was with the standered injectors and running on optimax.have now got a new list parts which hopefully within the next couple of weeks should be at scoobyclinic being fitted and mapped. they include a aps fmic, water methanol injection, light weight engine pullys, samco turbo hose,700cc injectors, exedy twin plate clutch.hopefully when mapped should take me over the 400 mark.
