Default Turbo change

Is it worth changing the turbo on my 1994 WRX to a VF28?

If yes, what labour time am I looking at to fit this??

It depends on what you want from your car. The standard TD05 is well capable for 300+ bhp.

if you do change it then a good couple of hours then a remap to make sure the car runs properly but as dan says the td05 is good for over 300bhp.

The VF28 is a front entry turbo, your current turbo isn't so you would have to convert to FE which is not as easy as it would seem by all accounts, you would do just as well to keep the TD05 that you have or get another one of them if it U/S, plus you won't have mapping issues.
