Default wont start,please help

The car turns over but its not starting. had probs with check engine light coming on when going out the road with high revs mostly, changed the spark plugs and stopped getting the check engine light so dont know if this had anything to do with why its not starting now.

Started fine this morning at 10am but at 2pm its not working when I went to start it again.

I have sometimes had probs with it hesitating and idle probs first thing in the morning,I assume this is either the ICV or MAF.
Would the ICV or MAF sensor suddenly stop the car from starting?
Going to check the spark plugs after work.
Any ideas what else it could be or if it is the ICV or MAF?

Its a 94 import WRX

Thanks in advance

Neil

Ok,thanks for that, got the followingerror codes:

22 Knock sensor
23 Mass air flow sensor
24 Idle air control solenoid
31 Throttle position sensor

Does this mean I'll need to replace the MAF?
Is this stopping it starting?

i would expect 23 and 24 to be the problems but i hasten to add i'm not an expert.
The early MAF is quite expensive (i know i've replaced mine)
