have your headers/manifold failed

if so what part / make are they and how long/miles did you do on them think power out put would be a help to

as mine have just gone after 34k failed were the 4 pipes joined befor the up pipe the lower left hand side as you look up facing the front has saped off

worked/owned numerous vehicles incl. early leggy turbo's and never come across the issue you mention.........

If they are stainless it’s pretty common, but as above if they are OE cast they should not fail.

sorry mine are stainless and cost a lot at the time

yep had a set of megans. (should have known better) they did about a year and maybe 10,000 miles. Then the up-pipe cracked

The cluster is a weak point, and even more so for headers that are not slip jointed as it leaves no room for expansion.


I would recommend speaking to Hayward and Scott if your not to far and thinking of a repair.

they have a slip joint
having the OE ones re fitted and will see if it can be welled up

but what will i lost power wise as the car was mapped with them on

H&S are 3 to 4 hr away

They are all made from cheap material ie 304 grade stainless steel, they really need to be made from inconel mega expensive but hey they wont crack.
Ya get what ya pay for!

well maybe lol
