no easy job.. the pump sits in a cage which is attached to the top plate of the tank.. back seats out, little inspection cover off, remove pipes and electrical connection.. undo the little nuts and lift the whole lot out.. change the pump with cage on bench and refit.
Can give more detail but not at this time of night

^ What Simon said
IIRC the hardest part is getting, I think it was the middle pipe off the top of the unit.
Other than that, it's pretty straight forward.
Might be wise to source a new gasket in case it's perished though.

tend to find if you use pliers and rotate the fuel pipe gently they give a satisfying click noise as they come unstuck from the metal pipe and then pull off fairly easily.
the one nearest the front of the car has a clip.. you press the two white bits of the clip on either side in and the pipe comes off..
Also worth unplugging the fuel pump and running the engine until it stalls and then removing the feed in the engine bay.. this will releave the fuel pressure in the pipes so you only get partially covered in fuel rather than drowned when you take the pipes off

Very little petrol came out the pipes when I change mine, although my car had been sat overnight F/P drops off slowly I believe. So would have been liw pressure in the pipes.
Could well be wrong on this though.
