Default ECUTEK dual map/switchable boost

Is this available on both a V7 STI (mate) and V8 STI (me)... i read somewhere that the switch for the rear heated screen can be used to swap maps/boost levels.

Can someone clarify if this is possible? does it cost any extra over the normal going rate for a Tek3 license and map?

Cheers
Rob

Its available on any newage Ecutek map. Switch is accelerator to the floor and heated rear screen. I think it only controls boost, not a full map switch as such and I wouldn't expect it to cost much more if any.

Andy F includes the switchable 'low boost' setting as part of his service

He's a top bloke though....

AFAIK this feature is available on any Subaru ECU that the EcuTek software works on so can be done for both the cars you've mentioned but guess you'd have to ask your mapper if it costs.

Cheers,

Stewart.
