Question

My car is a 1997 STI. It has a Scoobysport downpipe and Magnex centre and back. It's running at about 308bhp and 292lbft and hence it has been recommended to me to increase my fueling very slightly, I have no plans to modify it anymore and so I don't need to increase fueling very much, I've been told that the best and cheapest way to do this is to fit an Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator.

Can anyone tell me where I could get one of these and also if this is the best thing to do in these circumstances?

Hi Graham!

Lord Lawson will definately be consulted, I just wanted to get people's opinions and see if anyone had anything else to suggest or tell me about first!

he he! the figures aren't bad eh?

Oh, I think I saw you in Maidenhead a few days ago at the roundabout at the bottom of castle hill! I would have waved but you were too quick for me!

Hi Lou

I had this same problem on my UK300, with the ported headers,de-cat and APS induction my car was running slightly lean at the top. I found this out at PE 'no-excuses' RR day.

I thought that i was stuck with it until i spoke to CraigH and he advised me to get a fuel controller. I decided to go for the HKS, its got 50 imputs avaliable across the rev range

The unit cost £320 and it cost me 280 for Powerengineering to install and set-up

Now i've got a car that is running safe and adjustable fueling for flames
