Default engine oil

hi friends, can you tell me what the best engine oil is for 05 plat sti, and wear i can purchase it from please, cheers.

A good 10/40 assuming your engine is near standard will be fine.

my choice for my 'moderately' modded 05 WRX is Motul 300v 10w40 (top draw fully synth).

Look to pay around £50 (6ltrs) delivered from the likes of Opie oils/Scoobymania/Mocom Racing etc..

I'm sure someone (coughchoughpetecough) will say use Asda's own fully synth @ 20p a litre is just as good, the choice is yours as they say..

Silkolene Pro S 5w40 is another top quality ester based fully synthetic oil, available from Opie Oils mentioned by Jason.

Also call Alyn @ AS Performance on 0191 410 3770 for very good prices and next day delivery on Motul and others.
