Default HKS SSQV fitting

Just got my HKS BOV there. However the intsructions are in japanese with a couple of basic pics

Is there an english fitting guide online anywhere or has anyone had experience of this one?

Its going on a 97 type r....... hopefully!

its as simple as pie. can you see your original BOV?
have you got a FMIC or TMIC? (front mount intercooler or top mount intercooler)

standard engine bay so top mounted matey.... do you think even someone of my very limited ability could fit it?

has it got a mounting plate on it to fix it in the place of your original BOV?
if it has the correct mounting plate my sister could fit it lol (not saying that woman and cars dont mix )

yeah its got a fitting kit with a bracket and hoses and stuff so should be a straight swap then?

Best not open that tin of worms on woman and mechanics on here as the ladies know more than me!

haha ya thats not a good idea.
as far as the BOV goes ya it should be a straight swap. before you start taking everything off just make sure that the fitting kit you have looks like it will fit.

well got the dump valve on, i know many dont like them but im enjoying it.

My past turbo cars with dump valves just went psssshhhhht no matter when you eased of the gas but the scooby is much different lol

2-4k revs its like a chatter noise
4-6k is a loud pssshhhhhtttt
6-8.5k is a high pitched chirp

Just thought i would post incase any one cares lol

yeah my mate fired it on however the fitting kit was wrong and need to find a bung from somewhere got a temp bung made up to seal the intake anyway using........ well i wont say as i will get slated on here!
