Default Which Oil

Oil change due after 4 track days. Am planning on doing more track days with the car this summer so want a decent ish oil, was going to use Mobil 1, I guess this is ok?

The owners manual gives a 13 step guide with basic pics to changing the oil. My car is a W reg UK Turbo 2000 btw.

Cheers,
Richard.

Done 1 trackday so far with Silkolene Pro S in the engine. The oil is still clear and clean I'll be doing another trackday before it gets changed.

Who sells this stuff?

Would a 10w60 not be better than a 10w50?

Its not so much viscosity with Silkolene, but whats actually in it. Pro S is an esher based oil which means it clings really well to important engine parts. I heard a story once about a Impreza rally car that had its sump ripped off near the beggining of the stage. It had Silkolene in it and continued to the end of the stage. It was inspected afterwards, and no damage had been done! They just put a new sump on and refiled with oil, and carried on with the rally
