Default Turbo Timer Problem

I have just fitted a Turbo Timer to my95 with loom but when you take the key out and it starts counting down you can not lock the car untill the car switches of ?

Anyone know where the problem may be as i might as well of kept the money and sat in the car myself to cool it down.

Thanks

Ok, would just changing the timer and keeping the loom be good enough or would you need to change the whole lot ?
