Default Air Filter change?

I got an STI Panel filter for my 94 wrx and its been in for over a year now, and it's only today I read that its a filter that should be replaced every service.

My service is due around now is it worth replacing the STI filter with a GREEN filter - heard these are good.

Can I get a GREEN filter cheaper than £35.99 (scoobyworld)

Thanks

Thanks for that! thats a lot cheaper!

Do you think I should change to GREEN seeing as I've had the STI one in so long?

Can the STI ones not be cleaned/oiled?
I have a GREEN one, and I think it was worth it.

The Green filters i've used in my previous cars have been very good so for £40 you may as well give it a go.

I'm having my very first power run at Surrey rolling road end of this month, so I really wanna make sure my Scoob is breathing through a nice clean filter!

I've had Green on both my Scoob and my previous car. No complaints. But then I've also had K&N on both, and again no problems. The STi panel filter (which I've also had) did seem restrictive compared to a Green or even a standard motor factor's £5 filter element.
