I would get the turbo fitted and remapped at same time. If you have to drive it with new turbo fitted don't be driving it on boost.
For fitting and mapping at same time talk to Steve Cotton of (Cotcomp.com) who isn't far from you. He's done quite a bit of work on my car including 2 remaps and does a very thorough job indeed ! He will be happy to chat through what is needed, what to expect etc. Tell him martin sent you. If you are a member of LADS you get a nice discount too

Ultimately you will need a remap, but at low boost it's going to be pretty similar to your td05. If you connect the compressor cover directly to the actuator, you should be able to drive it no problem, and it should be limited to around 0.5bar. The my05 ECU should dial out any det but at 0.5 bar I very much doubt that will be an issue anyway. Even so, it still makes sense to drive it sensibly. Your standard injectors will need replacing before you can really make use of the turbo anyway, and then you will need a remap, so it's probably best to get it all fitted at the same time and mapped.

hi is my standard turbo a td50,sorry didnt understand some of the things u mentioned as im new on the scene im sure everyone else does injectors as well heard they r expensive + labour,i might go 4 a manifold n decat dp +remap instead of the turbo route,im really just after a ecutek remap but since im going 4 one i might as well get some other things done at the same time,it saves me time 2
