Default PFR7B's what gap on a my05 sti

im just about to change the standard plugs in my lightly tuned my05 sti to PFR7B's....do i need to alter the plug gap or are they ok to fit right out of the box?

Gap them to 0.6mm

what about .65?.... no but seriously would it make that much differance 6 or 7?

Should be preset to 0.7mm already.

Really doesn’t make that much difference 6 or 7 is fine, too tight and you will have start and idle problems too much gap can cause misfire but the difference between the above is not work worrying about on most conditions

I believe they come pre-set to 0.8mm If you are running above standard boost, re-gap to 0.7mm

The plugs will not be accurately pre-gapped and must be checked, they should be set to 0.65 mm for best results, gap is critical on these cars even at a relatively mild tuning level and can make all the difference.
