I need to redesign my intercooler pipework to allow for a larger bore of pipe from the turbo to the cooler.
Movingt he battery from its present location would provide much needed flexibility for places that the pipework can run past.
Would this be a good solution? How difficult is it to achieve?
Also does anyone have a top down view of an engine bay with APS FMIC pipework?
Ta!

cant view it at work, they block all photobuckets...
will have to wait till i get home....
I just would like to mirror (as close as possible) the APS layout. doesnt have to be exact, could you also do me a favour? can you measure the bore of the pipe used for me?

I'm running a much smaller battery (out of an EVO I think) to get enough room for my APS DR 500 pipework.
It's possible to get even smaller 12 volt lead / acid sealed Gel batteries that will crank the car. I bought one from Alyn at AS Performance but never fitted it in the end. I'll have a look for the make

Shaun, i shoudl be able to do it with the battery in place as i also have a much smaller one already. However i figured that it would give me maximum flexibility if the battery isnt in that spot....could actually make the pipeworkj straighter then too....

not quite sure where else it could go in the engine bay....next to the NS bulkhead where RCMS stick their huge catch can when fitted......main bulkhead in the middle under the front strut brace (where my oil catch can was but the Aquamist is there now).
Or somewhere in the car ?? rear passenger footwell ??
