Default prodrive sportcat-cel?

would you get a cel if you put the prodrive sport cat on a MY53STi with out the remap? any problems associated with fitting the sportcat, overboost etc.?

cheers

Another member over at LADS added a prodrive sports cat to a 53 STi and said he did indeed get CEL and overboost. Remap got rid of both.

I'm sure he wouldn't mind a pm to confirm this

I'm having one fitted on 12th to 01 WRX, but have a remap scheduled too.

I've just fitted prodrive downpipe, but I decat the up pipe at the same time so I cant say if the cel is down or up-pipe (or both). Drove it off boost like an OAP sunday driver and as little as possible until it's remapped next week as I also did the fuel pump, so the fueling could be out, just not worth the risk is it.

I'm up in the Northwest. Steve Cotton of Cotton Competition is doing my mapping (on road), he did my original map so the license is open for him - and he's a good mapper IMO
