Question Car suddenly cuts out and won't start for half hour....

....then starts and runs fine for a short while before doing it again.

The new owner of my old Scoob called me today with the above problem. It has started since a flat battery (told him to leave the sidelights on...damn smart alternator ). From his description it seems like the immobilisor is coming on and keeping things from working for a while The car has the OE Sigma, along with Blackjax and Tracker (old radio frequency model IIRC).

Any ideas

Does the ecu not use the crank sensor for starting and then the cam sensor when It's running?

Are there any fault codes/errors dave?

Fault traced to a lose connector relating to the immobilisor near the steering rack. Thanks for the input guys
